These Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of ThePDF.co (the “Platform”) and the digital services made available through it (collectively, the “Services”).

In these Terms, “ThePDF”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to LINDMA LTD.
By creating an account, purchasing a Service, subscribing to a paid plan or otherwise expressly accepting these Terms, you agree to be bound by them.
ThePDF is a digital platform providing tools for creating, editing, converting, compressing, merging, organising, downloading and otherwise processing PDF documents and other compatible file formats.
These Terms govern the contractual relationship between LINDMA LTD and any person accessing or using the Services (the "User" or "you").
They should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Subscription Terms and Refund Policy, where applicable.
In the event of a conflict concerning a specific subscription or refund matter, the specific policy governing that matter shall apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You must have the legal capacity required under applicable law to enter into a binding contract.
Where applicable law imposes a minimum age requirement, you represent that you meet that requirement.
Acceptance of these Terms occurs when you create an account, purchase a paid Service, subscribe to a plan or otherwise expressly indicate your acceptance during the checkout or registration process.
Merely browsing publicly accessible pages of the Platform does not constitute a waiver of any mandatory consumer rights.
ThePDF provides digital tools designed to facilitate the processing and management of documents.
Depending on the features available at the relevant time, the Services may include:
The availability and functionality of individual tools may evolve over time.
Certain features may be available free of charge, through an introductory offer, through a one-time payment or as part of a paid subscription.
The essential characteristics and applicable price of any paid Service are presented before the User confirms the relevant purchase.
Certain Services may require the creation of a User account.
You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep your account credentials confidential.
You are responsible for activities carried out through your account to the extent such activities are attributable to you.
Any suspected unauthorised access or compromise of your account should be reported promptly to contact@thepdf.co.
Accounts may not be sold, transferred, commercially shared or otherwise made available to third parties without our authorisation.
ThePDF currently offers access to certain premium Services through the following introductory subscription offer:
The applicable price, introductory period, subsequent subscription price and recurring nature of the subscription are displayed to the User before payment is confirmed.
The introductory 48-hour period begins upon successful activation of the offer.
Unless the subscription is cancelled before the end of the introductory period, it will automatically continue as a paid monthly subscription at €49.50 per month.
The subscription will thereafter automatically renew each month until cancelled.
Any applicable taxes are included or disclosed in accordance with applicable law.
By selecting the introductory offer and confirming the transaction, the User expressly requests access to the applicable premium Services and agrees to the subscription terms presented at checkout.
Unless cancelled, the subscription automatically converts following the 48-hour introductory period into a recurring subscription charged at €49.50 per month.
The subscription then automatically renews for successive monthly periods.
By subscribing, you authorise ThePDF and/or its payment service provider to charge:
The recurring nature of the subscription, renewal frequency and applicable price must be presented clearly before the User completes the transaction.
Payments are processed using secure payment service providers.
By providing or selecting a payment method, you represent that you are authorised to use it and authorise the processing of the amounts disclosed at checkout.
Payment transactions may be refused, delayed or subject to reasonable verification where necessary for security, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance or payment authorisation purposes.
ThePDF does not necessarily receive or store complete payment card information where such information is processed directly by a specialised payment service provider.
You may cancel your subscription at any time.
Cancellation may be completed:
Cancellation prevents future subscription renewals.
Once cancellation becomes effective, no further monthly subscription fee will be charged, unless a payment had already become due before cancellation.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, cancellation does not automatically result in a refund for a subscription period that has already commenced.
Where applicable, access to paid features will normally remain available until the end of the period already paid for.
ThePDF does not require Users to use a cancellation method materially more burdensome than the methods made available for subscribing.
Where you qualify as a consumer under European Union law or other applicable consumer protection legislation, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract.
For consumers in the European Union, the statutory withdrawal period for a service contract is generally 14 days from the date the contract is concluded.
Where you expressly request that the provision of the Service begins during the withdrawal period, the consequences of that request, including any proportionate payment that may lawfully be due for Services already provided, shall be determined in accordance with applicable law.
Where a statutory exception applies to digital content supplied immediately, any loss of the withdrawal right will apply only where all legally required conditions, including any required prior express consent and acknowledgement, have been satisfied.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts a statutory right of withdrawal where such right cannot lawfully be excluded.
Where legally applicable, ThePDF provides or will provide an accessible electronic mechanism enabling consumers to exercise their withdrawal rights online. This is particularly relevant in Cyprus following the consumer-protection amendments applicable from 19 June 2026.

Refund requests are handled in accordance with the ThePDF Refund Policy and applicable mandatory consumer law.
A refund may in particular be appropriate in cases involving:
Cancellation of a subscription does not, by itself, automatically entitle the User to reimbursement of a subscription period that has already commenced.
Nothing in this section affects mandatory consumer rights.
Users retain ownership and all applicable rights in documents, files, text, images and other content uploaded to or processed through ThePDF ("User Content").
Uploading a document to ThePDF does not transfer ownership of that document to LINDMA LTD.
You grant LINDMA LTD only the limited technical rights reasonably necessary to receive, temporarily host, reproduce for technical purposes, convert, modify or otherwise process User Content for the sole purpose of providing the Service requested by you.
This permission does not grant ThePDF any general right to commercially exploit the contents of your documents.
The original source terms contained a substantially broader perpetual licence over User Content; this has deliberately not been retained because it is unnecessary for the normal operation of a PDF-processing SaaS.
User files are processed for the purpose of providing the requested functionality.
Unless a file is intentionally stored by the User as part of a feature associated with their account, uploaded and generated files are intended to be automatically deleted within a maximum period of 3 months following processing.
Limited temporary copies may remain for a longer period where reasonably necessary for technical security, backup integrity, fraud prevention, legal compliance or the resolution of a technical incident.
Any such retention will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
Personal data associated with files and accounts is processed in accordance with the ThePDF Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
You represent that you have the rights, permissions or other lawful basis necessary to upload and process User Content through the Platform.
You must not use ThePDF to upload, process, store or distribute material that:
ThePDF may take reasonable measures to prevent or respond to manifestly unlawful, fraudulent or abusive use of the Services.
You may not:
We may reasonably restrict or suspend access where necessary to protect the Platform, Users or third parties.
The Platform, its software, architecture, interfaces, designs, graphics, text, databases, trademarks, logos and other proprietary materials are owned by LINDMA LTD or their respective licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, ThePDF grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes.
No ownership rights in ThePDF's technology or intellectual property are transferred to Users.
This section does not affect your ownership of your own documents and User Content.
Certain features of ThePDF may rely upon third-party infrastructure, software libraries, cloud services, payment services or other technical providers.
We may replace or modify such providers where reasonably necessary for the operation, security or improvement of the Platform.
Where third parties process personal data on our behalf, such processing will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and our Privacy Policy.
We aim to maintain reliable access to the Platform but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, security requirements, technical incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
ThePDF may update, improve or modify features over time.
Where a modification materially affects a continuously supplied digital service provided to a consumer, any such modification will be made subject to applicable mandatory consumer law.
ThePDF provides technical document-processing tools.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, ThePDF does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial or other professional advice.
Users remain responsible for reviewing the accuracy, content, legal effect and suitability of documents before relying upon them, submitting them to an authority or providing them to a third party.
ThePDF will provide its Services in accordance with applicable contractual and consumer protection obligations.
Digital processing may nevertheless be affected by technical factors including file corruption, incompatible formats, external systems, network interruptions or incorrect User inputs.
Users are encouraged to retain original copies or backups of important documents before processing them through the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LINDMA LTD shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from misuse of the Services, User-provided files, external incompatibilities or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or limits liability or consumer remedies where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
In particular, nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights relating to the non-supply or lack of conformity of a digital service.
ThePDF may reasonably suspend, restrict or terminate access where necessary due to:
Where reasonably possible and legally required, the User will be informed of the relevant action.
Suspension or termination does not remove any mandatory rights or remedies available to the User.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the ThePDF Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
The Privacy Policy provides further information concerning the categories of personal data processed, purposes and legal bases of processing, retention periods, recipients and Users' data protection rights.
ThePDF may update these Terms to reflect changes in applicable law, regulation, technology, security requirements, Services or legitimate business operations.
Administrative or non-material changes may become effective upon publication.
Where a material change affects an existing paid subscription or ongoing contractual relationship, appropriate advance notice will be provided where required by applicable law.
A User's silence will not be treated as a waiver of mandatory consumer rights where applicable law does not permit such treatment.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, LINDMA LTD will not be responsible for a delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, widespread telecommunications or infrastructure failures, major external cyber incidents, governmental measures or comparable events.
This provision does not exclude any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
Where the User is a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive the User of mandatory consumer protections that apply under the law of their country of residence where those protections cannot lawfully be excluded.
Users are encouraged to contact contact@thepdf.co before commencing formal proceedings so that the parties may attempt to resolve the matter amicably.
Any competent alternative dispute resolution mechanism available under applicable consumer law may also be used where appropriate.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Failure by LINDMA LTD to enforce a provision immediately does not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later.
LINDMA LTD may transfer its rights or obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of business, provided that such transfer does not unlawfully reduce the rights of Users or consumers.
Provisions which by their nature are intended to survive termination shall remain effective after the contractual relationship ends.
